Rwanda considers abolition of the death penalty to improve cooperation on genocide trials
The Rwanda government has taken the positive step of considering the abolition of the death penalty in order to help it domestically prosecute those accused of genocide. This is a difficult subject for the country and their authorities' willingness to consider this move it to be appauded.
